In this course, the musical journey continues with the learning of melodies that linger in our heart, the tunes or the Dhun that accompanies the fragrance of the soil. The Raga learnt is Brindavani Sarang, that traces its origin to familiar folk melodies. We understand this connect through Swaras in relation to a folk melody. The popular Bhajan Hay Prabho Anandadata takes the learner into the orchard of Raga Yaman. In addition to this course offers more compositions to build the repertoire.

Objectives

To do Swar Sadhana with vowel sounds

To do patternning with Swaras

To learn the compositions and songs with melodic and rhythmic nuances

To understand the jist meaning of the songs

 

The student has completed HV104A in the academy OR any equivalent learning. The student has been initiated into Shuddh Swara practice, patterning with Swaras and Rhythm patterns. The student is keen to learn and sing a variety of songs
